Affordable Sessions for The Care You Deserve
What it does:
Deep tissue massage is designed to target each layer of tissue separately for ultimate muscle tension relief. This can be helpful for chronic muscle issues such as neck pain, upper and lower back pain, tightness in leg muscles, and sore shoulders.
What we do:
We begin by using myofascial release techniques to target the fascia and work into the top layer of muscle tissue. This will help to release adhesions, strip scar tissue, and activate origination. We can then work deep in the muscles to elongate the muscle strands and create space between the muscle attachment sites. We may also find additional trigger points, fascia adhesions, and scar tissue here to strip out.
You’ll leave feeling taller, looser, and generally more relaxed.
What it does:
Orthopedic massage combines many deep tissue techniques with the movement of myotherapy and ischemic pressure. It helps relieve symptoms of nerve compression, chronic pain, misalignment, and structural issues surrounding the joints of the body.
This type of massage is especially useful for post-surgical pain, pain from an acute injury, or pain due to repetitive motion. Repetitive motion pain commonly forms during physical activities such as jogging, tennis, baseball, scrubbing floors, etc.
What we do:
While deep tissue pressure can be adjusted to suit your comfort level, orthopedic massage therapy uses ischemic compression. It’s a long, steady application of heavy pressure to deprive the muscles of movement and force it into a state of release. It’s an extremely effective therapy but requires commitment from both therapist and client. Drink plenty of water before and after your session.
You can expect to experience some soreness in the days following your session that gives way to a feeling of space and length throughout the body.
What it does:
A good massage session for beginners and the perfect way to relieve stress and feel rejuvenated. A Swedish massage promotes circulation, improves your immune system, releases tight muscles, restores range of motion, relieves pain, and flushes the circulatory system.
What we do:
Not defined with pressure, but with the process. It can be delivered with whichever pressure meets your comfort level. The process is to work through the body with long, smooth strokes, from origin to insertion point. This is done without necessarily engaging the muscles or utilizing trigger points.
What it does:
Prenatal massage therapy helps to relieve the everyday discomforts of pregnancy including headaches, swelling, backaches, and neck pain. It also goes beyond just physical relief by improving blood circulation, relieving anxiety, and helps many women experience better sleep.
What we do:
Prenatal massage can involve any of the massage techniques mentioned above. Prenatal massage can involve any of the massage techniques mentioned above.
