at Benevida Chiropractic

Emily Lain, D.C.

Dr. Lain is a graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic. ​She received training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in the practice of pediatric chiropractic ​and​ specializes in working with pregnant women and children​.

Dr. Lain also treats patients of all ages. She is certified in the Webster Technique, which is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment to establish balance in the pregnant woman’s pelvis and reduce undue stress to her uterus and supporting ligaments. She also predominately uses the Thompson Technique, which produces very precise adjustments for many spine and posture problems and the Logan Basic Technique, which is a light touch technique that works to “level the foundation” or sacrum.

Other chiropractic techniques she uses are Upper Cervical, Graston, Diversified, Gonstead, Sacro Occipital Technique, Flexion/Distraction, and the Activator Method.

Carter Bell, D.C.

Dr. Bell is a recent graduate of Parker University where he received a Doctor of Chiropractic and Masters in Strength and Human Performance degree. He has experience working with adults of all ages, ranging from athletes to veterans.

Using a combination of functional movement screens and assessments he determine the source of your dysfunction. He places an emphasis on targeting soft tissue complaints with a variety of specific stretches, muscle release, cupping, and graston tools to get the results needed.
He practices using Diversified and Thompson technique adjustments.

In his free time Dr. Bell will go out and play soccer, tennis, disc golf, or really any other activity to get out and move. He also has a dog named Garou who keeps him busy going for walks and running around at the park.

Melynda Rosales,

Chiropractic Assistant

Melynda graduated from the Lauterstein-Conway massage school in 2018. She is trained in deep tissue, therapeutic, orthopedic, prenatal, and manual lymphatic drainage. She recently transitioned from massage therapy to chiropractic assistant, where she works alongside Dr. Lain and Dr. Bell to further help patients reach their health and wellness goals.

She especially enjoys family time and she embraces every moment she has with her husband and two daughters. She also enjoys regular exercise and focusing on her own health.

Michael Meuth L.Ac. ACN

Michael believes in the unlimited potential of humans and has been dedicated to helping people overcome mental, emotional, and physical pain since 2006. He is passionate about seeing individuals thrive and overcoming obstacles to a meaningful life. Constantly seeking to heal his own wounds and overcome limitations, Michael finds joy in helping others do the same. He invites everyone to continue exploring and moving towards better health and emotional freedom, viewing the healing process as a continuous journey rich with treasures.

Michael's journey includes studying social sciences and humanities at Texas State University and earning a Master’s degree from the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin. He is certified in Hari (Japanese acupuncture), Japanese moxibustion, and Applied Clinical Nutrition, with basic certification in Nutrition Response Testing. He is also a certified neurofeedback technician and Brain Based Coach, trained in bioenergetic medicine, and has specialized training in acupuncture sports medicine. He is set to complete his Heroic Performance Coach certification in 2025.

Stefanie Gonzales, LMT

Stefanie graduated from A New Beginning Massage School in Austin in 2019 after a decade of working for the state of Texas and in hospitals as an advocate of disability and rehabilitation.

Stefanie is trained in deep tissue, Swedish, prenatal/postnatal, trigger point, sports, myofacial release, and lymphatic massage.

Stefanie provides therapeutic touch with a combination of techniques to promote health and wellness of the body, as well as ultimate relaxation to de-stress and unwind.

Melissa Medina

Melissa is the smiling face you often see when you come in to Benevida. She also manages the day-to-day operations and medical billing for the clinic. She previously worked for several businesses, including HEB Food Stores; the Law Firm of Graves, Daugherty, Hearon, and Moody; Zebra Imaging; Shropshire Construction, and Capital of Texas Flooring. She and her husband, Raul, have two children, Raul, Jr. and Madison, four dogs, and two cats.

Jeanne Lain

Jeanne retired from the Texas Department of State Health Services to pursue her dream of operating a small business and creating a legacy for her family. In her spare time, she and her husband, Bill, enjoy gardening and various hobbies; as well as being a parent to their three daughters, grandparents to their four grandkids, and dog parents to their six (yes six) critters.
